Founded in 2007 by Tansy Blaik-Kelly, Turning Tide Pilates has evolved
into a successful boutique Pilates studio, offering group and private
classes in Matwork Pilates, and 1:1/1:2 sessions on the Pilates studio
Turning Tide Pilates has openly encouraged diversity within its client
base, providing classes for all ages, genders, and physical abilities. We
believe well being, health and vitality should be universal. Varying group
classes are provided for a mixture of needs and levels. Private sessions
are tailored to your specific needs, whether you are looking for a
remedial, rehabilitative or recreational outcome.
Pilates is an exercise method, designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance.
Based upon an anatomical understanding of the body’s muscular and skeletal systems, Tansy creates a comprehensive exercise programme for the client.
Classes integrate the whole body to re-educate and restore it to optimum muscular and skeletal function.

General Level classes are suitable for all ages and abilities, and those recovering from injuries. [Pilates at Back on Track Clinic] Classes are booked in 6 week blocks at £48 per block. Space is limited to 6 participants and all mats and equipment are provided. Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a pair of socks to wear in class.
One-to-one sessions are also available at Back On Track. These classes are especially suitable for clients who may have injuries, or for those requiring more individual attention or special needs.
